Co-located with FLiCS 2026 Β· Valencia, Spain Β· June 9β12, 2026
This workshop aims to provide a focused interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners, and industry stakeholders to explore how blockchain technologies and smart contracts can be effectively integrated with intelligent systems to enhance transparency, traceability, security, and trust in complex digital and cyber-physical environments. The primary objective is to examine blockchain not merely as a distributed ledger, but as a foundational trust layer that supports automated decision-making, secure data sharing, and verifiable provenance in AI-driven and data-intensive systems.
By bringing together advances in smart contracts, NFTs, decentralized architectures, and intelligent algorithms, the workshop seeks to address fundamental challenges such as secure automation, accountability, anti-counterfeiting, privacy preservation, and system interoperability across heterogeneous domains.
The workshop further aims to foster discussion on practical deployments, architectural trade-offs, and emerging research directions at the intersection of blockchain and intelligent systems. Particular emphasis is placed on applications involving supply-chain traceability, digital asset management, IoT and edge intelligence, decentralized and federated learning, and governance-aware intelligent services, where trust, auditability, and resilience are critical requirements. Through technical contributions, case studies, and vision papers, the workshop intends to stimulate collaboration between academia and industry, identify open challenges related to scalability, performance, and sustainability, and outline future pathways for designing secure, transparent, and intelligent decentralized systems.
